• Fair Housing Information Clearinghouse was established in 2014 to educate the public                                                                                      about their right to housing and lending free from discrimination and what to do if their rights                                                                                                      are violated. The website has a tremendous amount of free fair housing educational materials                                                                                                     and resources.

  • Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD)is charged with enforcing Colorado’s anti-discrimination laws in the areas of employment (Colorado Revised Statutes § 24-34-402), housing (Colorado Revised Statutes §24-34-502), and public accommodations (Colorado Revised Statutes § 24-34-602). Housing consumers can file housing discrimination complaints directly with CCRD after completing the Housing Intake Packet  (en Español).  

  • National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) - Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Washington DC, the National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) is the only national organization dedicated solely to ending discrimination in housing. NFHA works to eliminate housing discrimination and to ensure equal housing opportunity for all people through leadership, education and outreach, membership services, public policy initiatives, advocacy and enforcement. Website has a wealth of fair housing resources, reports and information.

  • National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) & Nationwide Documentary This gripping, award winning film, developed by Nationwide in conjunction with the National Fair Housing Alliance, and produced by Animal, tells the story of seven days that changed America. From the horrible assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King on April 4, 1968 to the passage of the Fair Housing Act on April 11, 1968, America's cities were in turmoil - its people looking for some sign of hope. President Johnson compelled Congress to move hastily to pass sweeping civil rights legislation in an effort to demonstrate to the American people that Dr. King's dream would live on.
